I think pretty much most everyone would agree that with the tops up, the RF is the better looking. With the tops down, the softtop is the better looking. Anyone disagree? With that being said, the car is designed to be a convertable. So get the version which the car was designed for, the soft top. You're welcome!

Lmaooo. You said you feel the extra power on the STI. Here to tell ya. The wrx makes 270… at the wheels lol. So it’s closer to 320-325 crank making it more powerful than the STI.

I don't get why car reviewers keep saying the IS 500 is slower than its competition. It's the same! The IS 500's 0-60 time of 4.4 seconds is the same as that of the BMW M340i's, the Audi S4's, and the Mercedes' C43. Reviewers must be (mistakenly in my opinion) comparing the IS 500 to the M3 and the RS5 Sportback, which would only make sense if the IS 500 were an F model rather than F-Sport.

Windows can't drop down all the way and no AM radio... I can live with that...

"Four wheel drive for the first time on any Alfa Romeo model". No mention that the predecessor 159 had 4WD option; but also the predecessors of that, the 156 and even the 155. Alfa's first 4WD production model option was the 33 in the '80s... The last Alfa sedan that did NOT have 4WD option was the 75 that stopped production in 1992.

I’m here to check this car out. I’m not buying it for the power because my STI makes power but I’m wanting it for the sound and the luxury driving. There’s one for sale in caviar for 55k with 18k miles but 2 owners so I wonder why they would get rid of the car so quickly. I don’t see any recalls which is good but the one I’m looking at is a 2022.

2025 Z4 M40i does now have a manual option "Handschalter" option.

What are your thoughts about the handschalter edition ... Is an O.K. manual tranny going to make the car better overall than the ZF 8-speed? I favor manuals but I've heard such good things about the ZF. I figure the ZF will be faster accelerating and faster in any lap times this car might get.

2024 here to let you know the 400hp didn't happen... Matter of fact, in my future they came out with a WRX in the legendary TR trim and it only has 271hp & 256tq a 2013 KIA Optima SXL made 274hp and 260tq... I hear the death cries of yet another rally car coming...

I loved my 06 WXR, when you hit the turbo it would take off. The thing was like on rails in the curves. Then I bought a 08 . More comfortable a bit. But I should have drove it harder testing it out. Sucked cornering I'm sure it wouldn't out run my06 and definitely not in the corners. Just my 2 cents on the WRX. Wish I had my old one back.

I went from a fully optioned 2013 Cadillac ATS 3.6 Premium to a 2020 Giulia base model with nero edizone package that doesnt even have paddles, sunroof, or heated seats and I love the Alfa way more than the ATS. It really is a head turner, handles better, is a hair faster even though less HP(more TQ) rides so much smoother. I do miss some of the bells and whistles but having wireless carplay makes up for a lot of them. IMO the Giulia is an amazing value/bang for your buck. I got white with the red interior and its absolutely stunning. The black 19" wheels on the base model look way better than the Ti Sport wheels too. The 2017-2019 models had all the issues and they fixed them all with the 2020 when they redid the interior a bit, making the car incredibly reliable now. I would suggest looking for a slightly used 2020+ if your in the market, for me its hard to justify $50k for a brand new one when I got mine with 19k miles for $23k that is in almost brand new condition.

The best thing is that in the states, you can find a 2020 TI Sport AWD with like 30k miles on it for like $22-25k. Definitely looking forward to getting my first car next year! And yes I will be getting the alfa

The V8 is the primary reason I bought mine. I'm glad the competitors exist. The BMW may be quicker but the IS500 was exactly what I wanted. It puts a smile on my face each drive😊💙❤ And yes... playing my old CDs is a bonus

I can't get enough of this review. All 100% true. My Spyder was not my first Porsche, I live in CA and daily the car, I am a real estate broker, the breaks squeal and love it, the shifter and steering wheel are solid and heavy, and I literally cannot wait until the next time I get in this car. It is PEAK PORSCHE! Better than any 911....not joking. And yes, the gears are just fine!!!! And yes, yes, the car is so special, and people just walk up to me and want to talk about it....constantly.

My wife has the six speed manual on her 2017 GTI. Cheaper maintenance for the transmission, and super fun to roll through the gears. These cars are meant for a stick, IMHO….
